The International Association for Dental Research
(IADR) is a non-profit organization established, in 1920, to promote
research in all aspects of oral and related sciences, to encourage
development of improved methods for prevention and treatment of oral
and dental diseases, and to facilitate cooperation among investigators
and communication of research findings and their implications
throughout the world. It presently has over 10,000 active individual
members worldwide. The Nigerian Division was inaugurated on the 26th of
June 2002 during. It provides a forum for dissemination and propagation
of dental research conducted in Nigeria and other parts of the world
and seeks to prevent dental and oral diseases in the community.
